New Delhi: The month of September is going to bring three good news for central employees simultaneously. Central employees are scheduled to receive 3 gifts in August-September. When they are announced, a huge amount will come into the account of the employees. The first good news is about the Dearness Allowance (DA) of the employees, the government is expected to announce a 4 per cent increase in dearness allowance in the first week of September. Secondly, the decision on the ongoing talks with the government on DA Arrears can come. The third gift is related to the provident fund (PF), under which interest money can come into the PF account by the end of September.

After the June AICPI index came to 129.2 points, the path of increasing inflation allowance by 4 per cent has been cleared. If the DA of employees is increased by 4 per cent, it will increase to 38 per cent. The AICPI index has jumped since February. According to the data in June, it went up to 129. The government can announce the inflation allowance in the first week of September, which will be effective from July 1. DA arrears will also come along with the salary of the employees.

The matter of pending arrears of 18 months has reached PM Modi. A decision on this is also expected soon. Central employees expect the government to soon receive the outstanding dearness allowance for 18 months. Let us tell you that the Finance Ministry stopped the DA increase in May 2020 till June 30, 2021, due to the Corona epidemic. More than 7 crore subscribers of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) can also get the good news of interest in the account. Interest money is expected to be transferred to the account of PF account holders in September. According to the news received from the sources, the interest in PF has been calculated. This time PF interest will come to the account at the rate of 8.1 per cent.
