New Delhi: Indian Airforce is going to be stronger now. The Apache helicopter, one of the best fighter helicopters in the world, will be inducted in the Indian Air Force fleet today. Air Force Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa will induct 8 Apache helicopters at Pathankot airbase in Punjab today. This is the same Pathankot airbase where terrorists from Pakistan attacked in 2016.

It is worth mentioning that to fly a 60 feet high and 50 feet wide Apache helicopter, it is necessary to have 2 pilots. The Apache helicopter has 2 engines to run its large wing, due to which its speed is very high. Hellfire and stringer missiles are fitted in this 2 seater helicopter. There is also a sensor in it, due to which this helicopter can execute the operation even in the night time.

Let us tell you that the maximum speed of this helicopter is 280 km per hour. The design of the Apache helicopter is such that it is extremely difficult to catch on the radar. This US-made Apache helicopter AH-64E is the world's most advanced multi-role combat helicopter. India and America had a big deal in mid-September 2015, under which 22 helicopters are going to be delivered to India. Earlier, on July 27, 4 helicopters have joined the Air Force fleet, now eight helicopters are being met on Tuesday.
