Ahmedabad: Pakistan reacted sharply after the Central Government removed Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan cut off diplomatic relations with India. Trade and trade facilitation with India were also canceled. The Pak government's move has trapped 80 people living in Godhra in Gujarat. His family members have urged the Central Government to take cognisance of the case and reintroduce them to their family members. The Samjhauta Express reached Lahore via the Attari border with Delhi.

The train used to go to Pakistan twice a week. The train started after the signing of the Shimla Agreement between the two countries in 1977. That has been rejected by Pakistan as India has decided to scrap most of the provisions of 370. This has left Pakistan in a state of disarray and has ended the train and bus service between India and Pakistan in anger. "About 80 people belonging to the minority community of Godhra had gone to Pakistan to meet their relatives," said Haji Firdaus, a social worker.

They are stranded there due to the cancellation of train services. I request the Central Government to help them get back from Pakistan. All these people had gone to Pakistan after completing the process, said Mohammad Idrisg Ghesh, vice-president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind's Gujarat units. We request the Government of India to bring them back.
