BANGALORE: The Gruha Jyothi scheme in Karnataka has witnessed an overwhelming response, with a staggering 8,16,631 consumers registering as of June 20. This initiative, introduced by the Congress government, offers households in Karnataka the opportunity to benefit from 200 units of complementary power.

Rapid Increase in Registrations: The scheme experienced a remarkable surge in registrations, beginning with an impressive count of 96,305 consumers on the first day alone. This number soared to 3,34,845 by the second day. As of June 20, the registrations reached an impressive figure of 3,85,481.

The flagship program of the State Government received an overwhelmingly positive response from the public, thanks to its easy and convenient registration process. Since June 18, citizens have been able to register for the Gruha Jyothi scheme at various centers across Karnataka, including Karnataka One, Grama One, and Bengaluru One.
