New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 80,487 corona cases were reported in the country on Saturday and 3,300 people died and 1 lakh 32 thousand 576 people recovered. While active cases have shown a decline of 55,450 in the number of people undergoing treatment. At present, 10.21 lakh patients are undergoing treatment in the country. If you look at the trend of decline in active cases in the last few days, the number of active cases today will be less than 10 lakhs.
There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 12 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal and Puducherry. There have been stringent restrictions as soon as the previous lockdown. There is partial lockdown in 20 States and Union Territories of the country. That means there are restrictions, but there are exemptions. These include Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
10,697 persons were found infected on Saturday. 14,910 people recovered and 1,966 died. However, there have been 1,606 deaths in the past, which have been updated in Saturday's bulletin. That is, 360 people died in Maharashtra on Friday. Thus, 58.98 lakh people have been affected by the infection so far. Out of these, 56.31 lakh people have recovered while 1.08 lakh people have died. At present, 1.55 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
