80-year-old grandmother walks 7 hours to save her life amid Russia-Ukraine war

Yes, and the same list includes Piroska Buxa, an 80-year-old grandmother from Chomonin village, who walked for seven hours to avoid the fight. Yes, Piroska Buxa, born in 1942, crossed the Hungarian border with her daughter and 14-year-old granddaughter on Monday. According to reports, initially, she was not agreeing to leave her country, her home, but seeing the safety of the family, she agreed.

Piroska Buxa says "I felt I shouldn't leave the country at any cost. In the end, you have to leave your home, everything, it is a very sad feeling.'' With this, she adds, "My daughter has a dog, but we had to leave him. There's no one to live with him. Everyone is running away to save their lives.''
