Corona creates ruckus in Indore, many infected found before lockdown

Covid-19 cases in MP are increasing rapidly. Covid-19's havoc is seen most in Indore district of the state. Corona infection has started to increase again in the districts with the number of 84 infected patients found on Saturday. In one day, the infection rate has increased to near 6% whereas on Friday, this figure was close to 5%. Of the 1463 samples that went to the test on Saturday, 84 were found positive. A day earlier, 89 infected patients were reported on Friday. The number of those who died has reached 265 in MP.

CMHO Dr. Praveen Zidaya said that 25 patients have been discharged from the hospital on Saturday. In all, 3981 victims have recovered from the hospital and reached home. In the last two days, the number of patients admitted to the hospital had reached around 800, which has now increased to 1014.

Covid-19 cases in the city are increasing once again. On Saturday, 7 new cases were reported. Among them, 4 Ujjain, 1 Badnagar, 1 Mahidpur and a corona patient of Ghatiya have been found. Thus the total number of patients has reached 887. 71 people have also died of corona infection. 787 patients have recovered. The number of active patients in the city is 29. In Dewas district, report of 1133 corona samples was received on Saturday. 7 positives were found in it. Of the 257 positives found so far, 207 have been cured. If 10 have died, 40 are undergoing medical treatment.
