Ghaziabad: Indian Air Force is celebrating its 87th Foundation Day today i.e. on 08 October. The main event has been organized at Ghaziabad's Hindon Airbase, where Air Force personnel will perform spectacular feats. Along with this, there will also be a flypast of 54 aircraft. In this parade, for the first time, the world's heaviest helicopter Chinook and the most dangerous fighter helicopter Apache will demonstrate its bravery.

Along with this, besides the indigenous fighter jet Tejas, Sukhoi 30MKI, Mig 29 upgrade, Jaguar will also show their power in fly past. Wing Commander Abhinandan Present and Minty Aggarwal will also be honoured on the occasion. During the program, many senior officers of the Indian Air Force along with military officers from many other countries will also join and be witnesses of the air show.

During the nearly one-hour air show, the Aakash Ganga team of the Indian Air Force, Garuda Commando Unit, Air Warrior Show and vintage i.e. vintage trainers will be seen performing from aircraft to aircraft made under the Make-in-India theme. Special arrangements have been made for the audience to sit here. Let us tell you that the Air Force was established on 8 October 1932. Before independence, the Airforce was known as the Royal Indian Airforce.
