885 new corona cases reported in Kerala, these many people recovered

Thiruvananthapuram: 885 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Kerala On Friday,  while 968 people have recovered. It is a relief report for the state that the number of people recovering more than the corona infected is high. Twenty-four health workers are included in the new Corona patients. Apart from this, 4 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 infection, due to which the death toll has reached 54 in the state.

CM Pinarayi Vijayan said that out of the new cases, 724 patients have been infected with corona due to contact with the infected and the source of corona infection of 56 patients is not yet known. Currently 9,371 people are undergoing treatment. During the last 2 days, a huge increase has been observed in the cases of COVID-19 infection in the state. More than a thousand cases were reported in a single day. With the addition of 885 cases, the number of corona infected in the state has increased to 16,995.

Let us tell you that 64 of the corona infected have returned from abroad, while 68 are back from the rest of the states. The CM said that 4 lives have been lost, including two in Kasargod and 1 in Thiruvananthapuram and Alappuzha districts. In the last 24 hours, 25,160 samples have been investigated. So far, 3.38 lakh tests have been done in the state. Cases of corona infection in India are increasing rapidly. So far, over thirteen lakh cases of corona have been reported in the country and more than 31 thousand people have lost their lives.
