The tenants hoped that after this winter snowfall, the production of fruits would be higher this time, but unseasonal hailstorm has dashed their hopes. The district administration, agriculture and horticulture department is engaged in assessing the damage. Giving information, 70-year-old Indra Sen, who lives in Bhairakot village under Ramgarh block, has told that from 13 to 15 March, rain and snowfall destroyed the crop.

Indra Sen tells that the peaches, plums, and dumplings of flowers have been destroyed by heavy hail. Many farmers like Indrasen spend their entire year by selling fruits.
