Shimla: In Himachal, on the last Friday i.e. December 13, 2019, snowfall has increased due to the continuation of snowfall for the second day. Traffic was stopped on 298 small and big roads including 6 national highways in the state. Rohtang has received more than 5 feet of snow in 30 hours. The minimum mercury was recorded in 5 regions of the state on Thursday night. Hundreds of tourists have been trapped due to jam from Shimla's Kufri to Dhali. 90 tourists from Maharashtra are trapped in Kufri due to snowfall. It is being told that the tourists did not leave Kufri even after repeated calls by the police before closing the routes.

According to the Meteorological Department, the Shimla Police has accommodated all the tourists in hotels in Kufri. The tourists have come to visit Kufri from Maharashtra, but their buses are stuck due to snowfall. Shimla Police has appealed to the tourists to follow the guidelines.
