From his aggression to his personality, Testosterones control a major part of a man's being. Well, reports suggest, the amount of testosterone released in a male's body is prominently determined by his experiences of childhood.

According to researches performed at the Durham University conclude that men, who have faced a challenging environment in their growing years, such as having suffered with an infectious disease are more prone to having lower testosterone levels in their period of adolescence and after that compared to men whose childhood has been quite healthier.
Also, the researchers informed that high testosterone may even hint at Prostrate cancer.

Dr. Kesson Magid from Durham University's Department of Anthropology asserted, "A man's absolute levels of testosterone are unlikely to relate to their ethnicity or where they live as adults but instead reflect their surroundings when they were children."
Well, low testosterone levels may cause lack of energy, loss of libido and erectile dysfunction.

Professor Gillian Bentley from Durham University informed, "Very high and very low testosterone levels can have implications for men's health and it could be important to know more about men's childhood circumstances to build a fuller picture of their risk factors for certain conditions or diseases."
