Before the general elections, the government can take a decision by increasing the salary of the bank employees. According to media reports, representatives of banks will meet with the Indian Banks Association on May 5.

It is believed that in this meeting, there can be a general opinion about the increase in the salary of the bank employees. Let us know that the bank employees are demanding 25 percent increase in salaries. The government wants a consensus on the increase of 10 to 15 percent.   The salary would have been decided to increase in November 2017 but did this on a consensus. There was no meeting between the government and the union after this. 

According to information received from sources, now the government wants to make the general opinion on this before the Lok Sabha elections so that it will not suffer the displeasure of the bank's employees in the election.   

Banks will remain closed for three days, from 3 to 28 April, they will be closed for 3 consecutive days. On the 28th of April is the fourth Saturday of the month, the next day is Sunday. On Monday, the bank will be closed due to the holiday of Buddha Purnima. In the past 8 states, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Telangana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh have been facing problems of cash. There were complaints about not getting cash in ATM.
