On Sunday, it was an MS Dhoni special at the Chepauk as the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper played a sublime knock to lead his side to a third straight win in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. On a night when the whole stadium was cheering for her father, Ziva Dhoni enjoyed the action from the stands and was seen dancing to the tunes of a famous Tamil song 'Otha Sollaala'.

Just like any other CSK fan, Ziva too enjoyed all the action and danced on as the home team secured a great victory. Here it is to be noted that Ziva, one of CSK's most famous supporters, watched on from the stands as her father carved out a special innings to guide his side to an 8-run win against Ajinkya Rahane's men. Dhoni top-scored for CSK with 75 off 46 deliveries and his innings was laced with four fours and four sixes as his crucial knock proved to be the difference between the two sides.

However it is worth mentioning here that CSK were asked to bat first on a topsy-turvy Chepauk track as they got off to a shaky start before Dhoni bailed his team out with a brilliant knock. CSK were reeling at 27/3 after losing Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson and Kedar Jadhav cheaply before Dhoni entered the fray and steadied the ship. He combined with Suresh Raina (36) and Dwayne Bravo (27) to add 61 and 56 runs respectively for the 4th and 5th wicket.

It is worth mentioning here that after playing a second-fiddle to Raina and Bravo for the majority of his innings, Dhoni changed gears towards the end and propelled CSK to a challenging total with some sensational hitting in the slog overs. He smashed 42 runs off the last 16 balls he faced in the innings including a hat-trick of sixes against Jaydev Undakat in the 20th over to power CSK to a strong total of 175/5. Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir, Shardul Thakur and Tahir picked up two wickets each to restrict Rajasthan on 167/8 and hand CSK their third win on the trot.
