After threating by Karni sena Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is all over the headlines for her upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Padmavati. Certain religious groups have been protestant against the film for displaying incorrect historical facts. Deepika was also slammed and now threatening by the Rajput community for wearing ‘scanty’ clothes in the song ‘Ghoomar’. Now, the actress will make an appearance on the popular reality show Bigg Boss 11 to promote her film Padmavati. She will perform on her controversial song ‘Ghoomar’ wearing a red traditional dress.

Deepika Padukone has been there on the sets before for promoting her film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. She has earlier made an appearance on the show for promoting her another Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Bajirao Mastani. In Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar, the entire set of Bigg Boss will be decorated as a palace. Housemates will also give special performance to welcome the actress.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati features Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles. The film has been marred by controversies due to nationwide protests it’s facing from the fringe groups in the country. Rajput Karni Sena even threatened the actress to suffer same fate as ‘Shurpanakha’ if she didn’t hold the release of this film. Chattisgarh royal slammed the makers for the song ‘Ghoomar’ saying that the Rajput queen never danced before anybody. They also accused Deepika Padukone for dancing in indecent clothes in the song, which is a fault representation of Rajputs.
