The loving bahu of daily soap, Dipika Kakar Simar of Sasural Simar Ka finally opened her mouth and talked about her divorce and future marriage plans with the co-star.

She talked about days with Raunak Samson “I’m relieved; it was a phase in my life that I don’t want to go back to. Maybe it was meant to happen, as I learnt a lot from it. But now I want that chapter to be closed.” She shared her choice of groom as well- her ex co-star from Sasural Simar Ka, Shoaib Ibrahim.

“I will update everyone about my personal life, as and when I need to. I am not saying anything [about Shoaib]. Right now, I don’t want to comment on my personal life at all. I don’t plan to die old and alone (laughs). I will get married at some point. I am a human being, and I have made mistakes, but I have also learnt from them.”

Later she revealed in recent interview, "It's not mandatory that every love marriage should work; it can have its issues like compatibility too. Breaking off any relationship is difficult, almost traumatic. That's exactly what happened with me. My parents supported me and Shoaib helped me pull through those difficult times. We were not dating then."

Dipika shared her marriage plans, "It will be a combined effort and we want to save enough for the nikaah. I want it to be a destination wedding and it has turned out to be his hometown Bhopal. For now, I demand the next step should be a proposal, and that too for marriage. (laughs)"
