Shahar Imam Mufti Khurshid Alam from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly issued a Fatwa against a social worker who is also a victim of Triple Talaq to stop necessary supplies to the women.

The cleric order claimed that Nida Khan will be restricted with any supply of medicines, prayer on her death and graveyard for her body. And people who will dare to go against the orders will also face the same punishments.

The Fatwa reads: “No medicines will be provided if she falls ill. If she dies, no one is allowed to offer 'namaz' on her 'janaza' (funeral procession),”

The clerk who proclaimed the Fatwa said: “She cannot be buried in the kabristan (graveyard) after her death.” He also threatened people for dire causes if they will go against and will help her.

He even orders that Muslim people would have to maintain distance from her until she will “publicly apologizes and retracts her anti-Islam stand”.

Nida Khan who got married to a person named Usman Raza Khan (Anzu Miyan) in 2015 and then divorced after only one year, opposed the Fatwa and said she was shunned by due to taking action against paterfamilias.

Worthy to mention that Nida also opposed the triple talaq given to her and won the battle against her husband. She therein civil court claimed that Usman used to assault him to the extent that she even have aborted her child.

The lady currently is fighting against Nikah Halala which claimed that for marrying her husband again after divorce, a woman has to marry and sleep with other man.
