Today, Google Doodle honoring the legendary poet William Shakespeare and Patron saint of England St. George. George's Day is the feast day of Saint George, the patron saint of England and famous for slaying a dragon. This day is celebrated by many Christians Churches in various nations.

Also, today is the 400 death anniversary of Shakespeare who wrote around 38 plays in his 52 years of life, out of which some can be spotted in the Doodle. Shakespeare was noted British poet and also "Bard of Avon".

Shakespeare composed most of his known work between 1589 and 1613. Shakespeare's work has made consciousness on theatre and literature, giving manner to some inspirational effort and performances from later generations till date, which is remarkable and memorable.
