Veteran actress and also the mother of actress Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan is well-known for her straightforward personality.Now, in an interview,  Razdan said that she would be happier living in Pakistan.

In an interview with NavBharatTime Soni  talked about the situation of conflict in Kashmir and said that the place has run out of cultural balance. She said, When she talks of things like these, she is called 'anti- national' and people start sending her to Pakistan. Sometimes she thinks that she should better go to Pakistan only, she would be very happy there and that their food, too, is very good. Here, people make her run, a lot of times she has been asked to go to Pakistan but a lot of people share her views and that's why, it doesn't make a lot of difference to her about who says what.

On the workfront, Soni Razdan was last seen playing real-life daughter's reel-life mother in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi. She was also seen alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Aahana Kumra and Mahesh Bhatt in Yours Truly which released last year. Razdan is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie No Fathers In Kashmir. Directed by Ashvin Kumar, No Fathers in Kashmir also stars Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Anshuman Jha among others and is slated to hit the theatres this Friday.
