In the Indian Super League 218, FC Goa's chances of making it to the play-offs of Indian Super League (ISL) were dented after Nigerian striker Kalu Uche struck a late goal to help Delhi Dynamos settle with 1-1 draw in a fiery encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Wednesday. FC Goa midfielder Hugo Boumous' goal was cancelled out by Kalu Uche as Goa failed to hold onto their lead after they squandered multiple chances in front of goal.

FC Goa are still sixth and five points behind the playoff places with a match in hand over the top four. This is the first draw between the two sides and they have now scored a combined 35 goals in 10 matches against each other. Corominas could have scored minutes later but Delhi goalie Xabier made a fine save to stop him from close range. Shockingly, he missed another chance in the 74th minute when he tried to be too exuberant in a one-on-one situation with Arnab Das and made a mess of it. He will surely be regretting not keeping it simple to give his side a better lead. FC Goa will now lock horns with Pune City while Delhi Dynamos will face ATK in their next ISL clash.
