CBSE has finally released the official notification for Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2017. The dates for the examination have been frozen for April 8th, 15th and April 16, 2018. Apart from the single largest entrance examination for government-funded institutes of technology, the exam is also used to admission to state engineering colleges in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Nagaland also use the examination. JEE Main 2018 Paper I would also be the qualifier for JEE Advanced 2018 which is an entrance test for Indian Institutes of Technology. Here is a list of all the important dates for the JEE Main 2018 examination.

Students are advised to go through the notification on the official website. Also, from last year, Aadhaar Card has been made mandatory for JEE Main registrations. Students who still have not applied for the identification card are requested to do so at the earliest. Also, the complete notification along with eligibility criteria as well as how the percentile would be calculated is provided.

-Start of Online Registration for JEE Main 2018: December 1, 2017
-Last date to apply online for JEE Main 2018: January 1, 2018
-Last Date to pay the fee for the application: January 1, 2018.
-The release of JEE Main 2018 Admit Card: Third week of March 2018.
-Date of Offline Exam (Pen and Paper Based Test) for Paper I and Paper II: Sunday, April 8, 2018
Date of Online, Computer Based Test for JEE Main Paper I: Sunday, April 15th, 2018, Monday, April 16th, 2018

-Declaration of Results for JEE Main 2018: April 30, 2018 (Tentative, subject to change)

Aspirants are reminded that there would be no computer-based test for the JEE Main Paper II exam. Also, applications can be made only through the online mode. The fee, however, can be paid either through online electronic methods like credit/debit card or net banking or through the challan facility.
