The couple met on the sets of the Star Plus hit serial “Kasauti Zindagi Ki”and fell for each other. In March 2008, after dating for 2 and half years they were finally get committed for life as husband and wife. The couple is blessed with a son, Shaurya Kharbanda.

“We have known each other since the past six years. We have been seeing each other for the past two years. But we decided to take the plunge recently. We are renovating our apartment. Our parents have met and have given their consent. The wedding date is to be finalised, but it would be within the next few months,” gushes Geetanjali as she snuggles upto Sikander, her former co-star in Kasauti. Geetanjali quoted about her marriage: “It happened really fast! On one Sunday, we decided to tie the knot and within 20 days we got married.”

“It's very good. It's secured, beautiful and I feel pampered. Not just Sikandar, but his entire family pampers me a lot.” she added. On their 8th marriage anniversary, Sikander posted a beautiful pic with caption even more adorable: “This day 8 years ago, I promised her a lifetime of joy and laughter. Haven't broken my promise yet. And won't ever. Happy Anniversary darling!”
