The former Skipper MS Dhoni, who is taking out Team India's big troubles through his batting experience. Dhoni can now be named the country's third uppermost civilian honor, namely Padma Bhushan. The BCCI has recommended the Padma Bhushan award to the Central Government for Dhoni. Apart from Dhoni, the BCCI has not provided any other names for the Padma Awards.

Dhoni's name has been suggested with a consensus in the BCCI. An official of the board has told that "Team India has won every tournament of ICC in the captaincy of Dhoni." He has scored almost 10000 runs in ODIs and played 90 Tests. In such a situation, no other name could have been better than him '.

Prior to this, Dhoni has got the major Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and Padma Shri, associated with the Games. If Dhoni gets Padma Bhushan this time, he will stick together the league of cricketers who have received this honor in which Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are included. Of this, Sachin Tendulkar has also got Bharat Ratna, India's chief civilian honor.

Now the recommendation of Dhoni's name will be sent to the Sports Ministry, Home Ministry, where the final decision will be made.

Dhoni had recently made a record of playing 300 ODIs against Sri Lanka. With this, 100 stumpings in ODIs were the only wicketkeeper in the world.

Dhoni is the only skipper of the world who has taken into custody all the trophies of the ICC. In the captaincy of 2007, Team India became the T20 World Cup champion. In 2011, the Indian team captured the ODI World Cup after 28 years. After this Dhoni was the captain of India's Champions Trophy.
