Monsoon Parliament Session: Eyes on these political leaders
Monsoon Parliament Session: Eyes on these political leaders

The monsoon session of Parliament is going to start on July 18. In this session too, there is hope of a fierce ruckus as in the last budget session. The Government is continuously saying that the House is running smoothly, but the Opposition is ready to encompass the government. During this session, there will be many such faces which will determine the direction of the working of the House. These faces will be the eyes of the whole country.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh will surely be focused along with the opposition parties. It is decided to ask them to respond to the incidents of law and order and lining. In the past two months, there have been 16 incidents of mobs lynching due to rumours, more than 22 deaths have been reported.

After this, the government has warned social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook that they work to stop such rumours. The opposition is constantly attacking the issue and the demand of the Home Minister to answer in Parliament.

Before the session, the government has decided to increase the record in the MSP of Kharif crops by giving a gift to the farmers. MSP of paddy has been increased by Rs 200 per quintal. The Opposition would never want that the government should get rid of the farmers in their backs, so farmers can raise debt relief, crop insurance and other problems with loud noise. Simultaneously, the new MSP can reduce the demands of the farmers by making some other demands and surround the government in the House.

Whether Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will attend this session or not, it is not clear yet. Due to poor health, Piyush Goyal has been temporarily given the charge of the Ministry of Finance, instead of Jaitley. However, Arun Jaitley has now been discharged from the hospital and is continuously showing his views through Facebook Blog. But there is still speculation on his participation in the proceedings of the House.

Jaitley is a leader in the Rajya Sabha, and his absence can weaken the NDA camps. If Jaitley comes to the House, then the question will arise as to who is the Finance Minister of the country, because at this time Piyush Goyal is in charge.

Several opposition parties, including the Congress, have been accused of referring to the interests of the students and have accused the government of being irresponsible towards the students. In this case, during this session, the opposition will try Javdekar to seek answers on all these issues.

The protest against the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project Opposition is also an attacker on the government to redeem these issues. The Congress party has also accused Piyush Goyal of falsification and now he will be asked to answer all these issues in the House.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has been in the discussion for some time due to trolling. The Opposition may demand a reply from the government on this trend of targeting the Opposition women, and Sushma herself can also keep her side in the House on this issue.

For the first time since independence in the 2014 elections, a Muslim member by winning the recently held by-election, the RLD's Tabasum Hassan is reaching the Lok Sabha. United Opposition candidate Tabassum Hasan defeated BJP candidate in Karaana by-election and Mriganka Singh, daughter of Hukum Singh. During this session, he will also take oath as a Lok Sabha member.
