However, held true when Sri Lanka batsman Chamara Silva, in a domestic match, attempted a bizarre shot to score runs only to go back to the dressing room in embarrassment manner. Chamara Silva is out of from the squad due to his bad conducted with his team.

In a video, which is going viral on the internet, Silva can be seen going behind the wickets to play the shot but the dead-straight ball rattles his stumps, ending Silva’s outrageous attempt at innovation in despair. The social media users also took a dig at the Sri Lanka batsman while one user form the Pakistan posted a video of a local cricketer attempting the same shot successfully. Well, Silva might want to tour Pakistan to learn a few tricks! Nonetheless, here are some of the reactions:

Chamara, who has appeared in international cricket as he present in 11 Tests, 75 ODI, and 16 T20I for Sri Lanka, was recently banned for two years by the Sri Lanka board for misconduct during a domestic game. SLC said the match between Panadura Cricket Club and Kalutara Physical Culture Club in January this year had not been played in keeping with the spirit of the game and that players and officials on both sides had been penalised.
