New Delhi: A case of death of a child of just six months while travelling by air has come to light. She was coming to Delhi from Patna with her family members. The deceased has been identified as Rachita Kumar. The family members of the deceased are originally residents of Ninga Barauni village under Begusarai district of Bihar.

DCP Sanjay Bhatia of Delhi Airport said, Rachita along with her father Rajendra Kumar and mother Dimple were travelling on a Spice Jet Airlines flight SG-8481 from Patna to Delhi. During the journey, the health of the racquet suddenly began to deteriorate. The 6-month-old girl died before anyone could understand anything.

He said, talking to Rajendra Kumar, the father of the deceased, it is learnt that the child was born with heart disease. Physicians told that there was a hole in his heart. The girl was undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for the last several months. He was coming to Delhi from Patna for treatment of the child. The parents of the girl have denied any foul-fall behind the death of the child.
