Bilaspur: During the lockdown, news of accidents are coming daily. The latest case has come out from Bilaspur, where once again labours has been the victim of the accident. The bus which left for the Jharkhand border via Pune to Bilaspur with migrant workers, collided with a truck near the village Temri on the Raipur-Bilaspur National Highway at 8.30 am today.

Three people, including the driver, have died in this accident and four other labourers have been brought to the hospital in critical condition. The accident occurred due to a line of heavy vehicles in front of a Dhaba. The villagers immediately reached the rescue and started evacuating the passengers trapped in the bus. Meanwhile, police from Nandghat police station also reached there. They sent other remaining passengers towards Bilaspur.

Eyewitnesses said that parking space has not been provided in front of the Dhaba in Temri, due to which heavy vehicles are parked on the road itself. The bus and the truck came face to face, and both collided with each other.
