Mumbai: The charge sheet filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the Antilia case and Mansukh Hiren murder case had made several revelations in the past. It is from this charge sheet that it has come to light that the entire case of Antilia was pre-planned and the conspiracy was hatched to recover crores of rupees from Mukesh Ambani. However, the conspirators later failed and Sachin Waje was suspended after the case went into the hands of NIA.

The charge sheet says that the purpose of parking a bomb car outside Antilia was to collect money out of fear of terror. Waje and his gang later killed Hiren because they thought the case would now go to the NIA. He was afraid that if NIA questioned him, Hiren would not tell everything. NIA sources say that apart from paying for the recovery money, the entire conspiracy was hatched as an encounter specialist wanted to regain his identity and become a hero.

State that the charge sheet of the NIA contains sections of the IPC, Arms Act, Explosives Act and Section 16 (Terrorist Act), 18 (Conspiracy), 20 (being a member of a terrorist gang or organization) stringent unlawful activities (Prevention) Act which is commonly known as UAPA.
