Guwahati: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has threatened to file a defamation case against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Furious at Kejriwal, he said that there is not a single case of corruption registered against me. I challenge them to show even a single case of corruption against me.

During the discussion with the media, Sarma said that I have not yet filed any case against him. What is the case against me? There is no case against me anywhere in the country. I want to file a defamation case, but a coward like Arvind Kejriwal made this statement inside the assembly. Let him come to Assam on April 2, and let him say that there is a pending corruption case against Himanta Biswa. I will immediately file a defamation case against him, as I did in the case of Manish Sisodia.

He said that, but Kejriwal made this statement inside the assembly. He should tell me which case is registered against me and where it is registered. Such statements should not be made while sitting in the Delhi Assembly, where everyone knows that I am not present. There is no case registered against me. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had said in the assembly that investigative agencies like the ED and CBI have brought together corrupt people like Narayan Rane, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Shubhendu Adhikari. Kejriwal had said that since all these leaders were involved in corruption, they joined the BJP. CM Sarma said that I do not think that Rahul Gandhi is so morally corrupt. In 2013, he opposed the amendment bill, which had a provision to keep the posts of convicted MLAs and MPs for some time. Today, Mallikarjun Kharge is doing the same, which was opposed by Rahul Gandhi.

'Amritpal is asking for a separate Khalistan because of Modi-Bhagwat', why did CM Gehlot say this?
