The incident is from Ghaziabad, where the engineer jumped from the 7th floor of a building in the Crossing Republic and committed suicide. The father of the deceased engineer says that his son went to a Babaji's ashram, where his brain was washed. After this, he has committed suicide. The name of the man who jumped, has been called Swapnil, who worked as a software engineer in a Noida company.
Swapnil's father says that Swapnil used to listen to the discourses of the alleged guru on YouTube. In this case a complaint has been filed against the alleged Guru Manoj Kumar Sharma of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan at the Vijayanagar police station. Swapnil's father Krishna Nandan has told that his son suddenly started listening to the discourses of some Guru Manoj on YouTube. Swapnil also went to Haridwar to meet Guru Manoj in March 2019. After returning from where he was brainwashed. After that he jumped from the roof saying 'Guru ji I am coming'.
