Sources have been quoted as saying that after receiving NCP invitation to form the government, a delegation of Congress leaders will go to Mumbai today and will meet NCP Chief Sharad Pawar and discuss the formation of the government.

According to the news, veteran Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal and Ahmed Patel will meet Sharad Pawar this afternoon. It is also news that Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has discussed Sharad Pawar on the phone. Congress leader KC Venugopal has informed by tweeting that, 'Congress President Sonia Gandhi has spoken to Sharad Pawar ji, this morning, I, Ahmed Patel, Mallikarjun Kharge will go to Mumbai for further talks with Sharad Pawar.'
