Faridabad: The case of a B.Com final year student's killing in front of Agarwal College in Ballabhgarh, Haryana, has now taken religious colour. The family members of the deceased allege that if their daughter had been a community special, she would get justice. The family of the student Nikita jammed in front of Apna Ghar society in Sohna Main Road, Sector-23 since Tuesday morning.
The family demands justice for their daughter and to encounter the accused. It says that when it is clear in the video that the accused has killed our daughter, why is he not being punished immediately? We cannot wait for 15 years for justice. Swathi Malwal, head of the Delhi Commission for Women, also tweeted on the issue and demanded stringent punishment for the accused. She wrote, "What is the law and order where a girl is murdered in the daylight." Where is the courage coming from in these animals? Appeal to the Haryana government to bring stringent punishment to this.
Nikita's family says that if our daughter had been from another community, all the administrative officers would be together and our child would get justice. But our child is not from that community, so nobody is going to take a listen. The family members allege that the accused of the killing was forcibly seeking to change the girl's religion (in Islam). After failing to do so, he first tried to kidnap and shot dead the girl when he failed.
