Ahmedabad: Indian Railways day is rapidly expanding into its modernity. World-class lounges are being built, stations are being rejuvenated and passenger amenities are being increased with modern technology. In this sequence, the process of making Ahmedabad railway station world-class started. Along with New Delhi and Mumbai CST, there is also a plan to re-develop the Ahmedabad railway station.

Let us know that in the meeting of the Modi Cabinet, the proposal for the re-development of the three stations was given the green signal. An amount of Rs 10,000 crore has been sanctioned for the redevelopment of New Delhi, Chhatrapati Shivaji and Ahmedabad railway stations. It will see the most grand Ahmedabad railway station. With re-development, Modhera will get a glimpse of a sun temple. The design of how grand this station will look after re-development has also been shared by the Ministry of Railways on its official Twitter account. Â Â

Ahmedabad railway station is considered to be one of the most moving and profit-making stations. This station plays an important role in connecting many main cities. The government has full focus on development around this station too. Redevelopment of 199 stations is currently underway in the country. Tenders have been floated for 47 of these stations. Master planning and design work for the rest of the stations are underway. Along with this, the work of re-development at 32 stations has been expedited.
