Chandigarh: The case of suicide of an MBBS First Year student at Bhagat Phool Singh Women's Medical College in Gohana, Sonipat district in Haryana has come to light. On Friday morning, there was news in Khanpur Mahila Police Station, a student has hanged herself in her room. After this information, when the police reached the spot, they saw that in the girls hostel room number 11, the girl committed suicide with a fan.
The name of the deceased has been described as Dimpi, who was a resident of village Khedi Sadh district Rohtak. The family has described the cause of suicide as mentally disturbing. The body has been kept at Khanpur Medical College for postmortem. The administration of the Medical College also told that the examination of her first year has started from Thursday and she had given a paper as well. Her mother was also living with her. The investigation officer of Khanpur Mahila Police Station SI Mahavir Singh said that we had received information about suicide from Khanpur Mahila Medical College.
The name of the deceased was a resident of Dimpi village, Khedisadh district Rohtak, who was a first year student of MBBS here. She has committed suicide by hanging herself in room number 11 of her hostel. When the police reached the spot, the body was kept in the postmortem house. Right now, family members have mentally explained the cause of suicide. At present, action is being taken under 174 IPC. Further action will be taken on the basis of the kind of statement the family makes.
