Kasganj: Recently, the Kasganj district has been in the news once about the murder of the UP police constable. The police have recovered the consignment of weapons from three smugglers here. All three crooks are said to be residents of Delhi. Police have recovered pistols and cartridges from these miscreants. A large number of arms possessed by miscreants has stirred the police administration.

Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Sonkar said that action has been taken against the real traffickers at Aliganj Tirahe near Patiali Police Station Daryaganj. The police officer said that the police was conducting a search operation. In the meantime, an attempt was made to stop the red coloured ITEN car. After stopping the car, three people present in it started running. The police cordoned off the three. The police were also stunned when the car was searched. Many parts were kept in the car. Police has recovered five pistols, 7 illegal guns and 6 cartridges from the car. The I10 car has also been seized.

All the three arrested smugglers are residents of Delhi. They have been identified as Arif, Nadir and Akil. The police have started investigating the people after extensive interrogation of the arrested youth.
