Ballia: A man has been detained for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl in UP's Ballia. On Saturday, police-reported the case. Police officer Shiv Narayan Vyas said the girl had gone missing on December 22 from a village under the Rasra police station area and a missing case was registered on February 16 on the complaint of her father.
According to the police officer, since then the police had been investigating the case. A criminal was arrested in the case on Thursday. And he is being questioned. According to a report, the victim has been sent to the district hospital for medical treatment.
An incident of gang rape of a minor girl has also been reported from the Kutch district of Gujarat. It is being said that on March 16, the minor girl was found lying unconscious near the bushes in a semi-nude condition. Locals reported it to the police. The victim was rushed to the hospital.
