New Delhi: An incident of rape at a restaurant in South West Delhi's posh Safdarjung Enclave has come to light. According to police sources, a young woman from Manipur works as Bauter service staff at the restaurant. The girl has alleged that when she had gone to the washroom, due to which in-charge Sanjay forcibly caught her in the washroom and committed the rape.
Following the girl's complaint, the police registered an FIR and arrested the culprit. According to the police, the victim and the culprit are already known. According to police, the 21-year-old, a resident of Safdarjung Enclave, alleged that she works as service staff at Lama Kitchen in Humayunpur. Around 1:30 pm on Friday, when she reached the washroom of the restaurant, after which the in-charge of the restaurant, Sanjay, also reached there and did wrong to me.
"On the day of the incident, I did not inform anyone about it. Later, the police were informed after which a case was registered under relevant sections.'' After registering a case, the police arrested the criminal Sanjay, a resident of Humayunpur. According to the police, it has also come to light that the complainant and the culprits have known each other for the past one year. Further investigations are also being carried out.
