Lucknow: Three people have lost their lives in two separate incidents in the Bijnor district of UP on Saturday. According to reports, three persons including a 14-year-old teenager have lost their lives in a road accident. Police have sent the bodies for postmortem.
According to reports, two youths riding bikes were badly injured in a collision between a Mahindra pickup vehicle near village Kotkadar on Raipur-Tandamaidas road in the station Nagina Dehat area. Both of them died on the way. The deceased have been identified as Sameer resident Lalwala and Adil resident Tandamaidas. The pickup driver fled. Police have seized the pickup vehicle and registered a case.
It is also said that a 14-year-old boy was hit by a car on NH-74 near Mirampur Bega village in the Mandavali area. Hrithik, the 14-year-old son of Mandavali resident Sunil, had gone to the mill of village Mirampur Bega for paddy harvesting. While crossing the road by bicycle, a black car coming from Bhaguwala hit cyclist Hrithik in which Hrithik was seriously injured. Police who rushed to the spot sent the injured to Najibabad through an ambulance. The teenager lost his life on the way. The driver took the car and fled the spot.
