Meerut: A prisoner lodged in Meerut District Prison in Uttar Pradesh has escaped by dodging the police from the Medical College of Meerut on the pretext of treatment. Police teams are searching for him. Police trying to find the accused everywhere, but till now the police have not got any accurate information about the accused.

Senior jail superintendent Umesh Singh told the media that the 45-year-old Kamal was lodged in the district jail. He was sentenced to ten years in prison by the court. Due to deteriorating health, he was admitted to the Medical College in Meerut for treatment. He was undergoing treatment in police custody, from there at 3:30 in the afternoon Kamal escaped seeing the opportunity.
