Indore: The first match of the two-match Test series is being played between India and Bangladesh at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Bangladesh team decided to bat after winning the toss in the Indore Test against India, which was a very bad decision. The Bangladesh team, batting first, was reduced to 150 after playing just 58.3 overs.

Bangladesh team started to bat first and started well and both of their opening openers were dismissed for a total of 12 runs. The third blow to the Bangladesh team was in the form of Mohammad Mithun who returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs on LBW by Mohammed Shami. India got a total of three wickets before lunch on the first day. After lunch, R Ashwin took one end of the bowling and took the first wicket.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored the highest 43 runs for Bangladesh team, he became the victim of Mohammed Shami. Apart from him, captain Mominul Haque contributed 37 and Litton Das contributed 21 runs. While bowling brilliantly for India, Mohammed Shami took the most three wickets, while Ashwin, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma got 2-2 wickets.
