New Delhi: Voting is going on in the capital of 70 seats for the Delhi Assembly elections from 8 am today. Minor incidents of fighting and fighting between political parties have come to light during the electoral movement. A similar incident also took place in Rithala Assembly constituency, in which workers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) clashed. Dozens of party workers were fiercely kicked and punched for a long time.

It is noteworthy that the Election Commission has put 516 places and 3,704 polling booths in sensitive category and paramilitary forces have been deployed there. Every polling booth is being monitored through webcasting. The police have deployed around 40,000 security personnel, 19,000 homeguards and 190 companies of the Central Military Police Force for the smooth election.

While the ruling AAP is trying to return to power in Delhi, the BJP wants to break 20 years of exile in Delhi. The Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years, would also like to get the mandate again in the national capital. This time the Election Officers are set up with strong security in the national capital using modern technologies like QR codes and mobile apps. He is posted in Shaheen Bagh, the center of protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
