Aarushi murder case: Hemraj's widow to move Supreme Court, against CBI

NEW DELHI: The family of Hemraj Banjade, who was taken life along with Aarushi Talwar on the dominant night of May 15-16, 2008, ready to move the Supreme Court to recognize the slayer. Hemraj’s wife is accusing the CBI of messing up the inquiry and say that justice has been starved of to them.

"Doesn't the CBI have any liability after the Talwars have been found not guilty," asks Ashok Kumar the brother of Hemraj's wife, who left his job as an electrician in Iraq to hold up his brother's family.”What action will they be taking now? They should make clear how they have messed up the inquiry," says Kumar, adding that people need to know Aarushi and Hemraj’s slayer.

Speaking in a video conference from her village Dharapani, 118km from Kathmandu, Nepal, Hemraj's widow, Khumkala Banjade, 50, talked about her family's trial as the murder. "We don't have the financial means to commute between Delhi and our village but we will move the Supreme Court. We are fighting for justice for my husband,” Dharapani said.

The Allahabad high court, as set free the Talwars, had slammed CBI for messing with evidence, planting a witness and discredit "clinching evidence" of the attendance of Talwar's compounder, Krishna, in the flat on the night of the murder. The trial judge also had got a lot of criticism in the order.
