Bigg Boss 16 producers held a press conference on Tuesday, September 27, with the show's mega host Salman Khan, during which he revealed information about the first contestant of the competition, singer Abdu Rozik. He made an appearance on stage and enjoyed joking around with Salman Khan. Abdu expressed his excitement to enter the Bigg Boss 16 house at the event by saying that it made him feel very, very happy. He added, "Please don't fight me," in jest.
For those who are unaware, Abdu Rozik makes a special appearance in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, the upcoming multi-starrer movie starring Salman Khan.
Salman Khan announced at the press conference that the Weekend Ka Vaar will now take place on Friday and Saturday rather than Saturday and Sunday as originally planned. The host also discussed how he doesn't let the show have an impact on his mental health because he already has a lot going on in his real life.
Gautam Vig, Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot, Sumbul Touqeer, Gori Nagori, Shiv Thakare, Soundarya Sharma, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are additional contestants who have been officially announced. According to reports, Bigg Boss 16 will also feature Priyanka Choudhary, Sreejita De, Shivin Narang, and Manya Singh.
