INDORE: Defence minister Manohar Parrikar is going to attend inaugural ceremony of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) 62nd National Conference which is going to held here at Government Arts and Commerce College (GACC). It is to be mention that this is Parrikar's maiden visit to city.

The four day conference will start on December 24 and continue till 27 and will witness a conglomeration of as many as 10,000 students all across the country. Discussion on various issues associated current education scenario in the country will be held.

Confirming the news, ABVP state general secretary and joint convenor Rohin Rai, "Defence minister Parrikar had already given his nod for participation in an inaugural ceremony of national conference".

"Before this, Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari going to address the inaugural ceremny, but now Parrikar will address the students," Rai said.

Rai informed that so far we yet to get his schedule, but probably he may land in city at around 2 pm and will leave on the same day after addressing the inaugural ceremony here.
