Jaipur: The political mercury has once again started rising in Rajasthan over the buying and selling of MLAs. The Ashok Gehlot government has achieved great success in this regard. After 12 months, the Jaipur court has approved BJP leader and Union minister Gajendra Singh's plea for voice samples. Now the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Rajasthan will be able to take voice samples of the Union Minister.
Three audio clips came out last year in the political developments between Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. One allegedly had talks between Sanjay Jain and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and the rest were reportedly talks between MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma and former minister Vishwaendra Singh. But amidst political developments, the two MLAs joined the Gehlot faction of the Congress. After which no application was given in the court to take voice samples of the two. But a petition was filed in the court seeking voice samples of BJP leader and Union minister Gajendra Singh.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Gajendra Singh registered a case in Delhi. The crime branch summoned CM Ashok Gehlot's media advisor Lokesh Sharma and chief scourge Mahesh Joshi to Delhi, after which ACB was activated in Rajasthan as well. However, ACB officials are avoiding speaking in the case and are citing permission from the court. Officials are also not saying when the ABC will go for Gajendra Singh Shekhawat's voice sample.
