Manisha Pailan , a 23-year-old girl from Hasanpur Village, West Bengal was attacked by the acid due to which she suffered major injuries. The incident happened on 17 November,2015 and now its almost a year. The victim still awaits for the Justice.

Due to the attack, she is now only able to see through one eye. The man who attacked is her ex-husband Manish, who is still out of the reach from police hands.

“I only hope the guilty are punished severely. They are not human beings but beasts. I will fight till the last day of my life.” she said.

Non-profit society of Kolkata also awarded her for the struggle through which she has gone and the courage she showed.
