Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has recently made a statement. In this statement, he said, "The investigation into the ganja supply case through Amazon in Bhind is underway. Amazon officials are not cooperating. They are requested to cooperate. Otherwise, we will also catch them and action will be taken against them also.'' In fact, in the past, the Bhind police had busted the smuggling of ganja on Amazon under the guise of a hard leaf. At that time, the police also seized Amazon packing cans, wrappers, barcode tagging, etc. including 20 kg of ganja. The smuggling is said to have taken place from Visakhapatnam.

On the other hand, police inquiries revealed that the accused have so far supplied more than one tonne of ganja online. In this whole case, Gwalior resident Suraj Pawaya formed a company called Babu Tax and became the seller of Amazon in Visakhapatnam. The accused were smuggling ganja from Visakhapatnam under the guise of hard leaves through the company. Now, in the same case, Narottam Mishra said, "There is no guideline for this online business. We will set guidelines for the entire country from Madhya Pradesh. In this way, it can also supply weapons. 20 kg ganja has been seized. Kallu Pawaya and Mukul and Govind have been taken into custody.''

He further said, "People with Amazon are not cooperating. If they don't cooperate, we'll catch them. Such action will not be allowed in Madhya Pradesh. For this reason, Amazon's MD and CEO are requested to cooperate in the investigation otherwise we will take action against them as well.'' In the investigation so far, Babu Tax Company has transacted at 12 locations. Amazon will also be prosecuted if the evidence is found in the investigation.
