Noted South Indian film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna underwent minor surgery at Care Hospital, Hyderabad on Tuesday. Nandamuri was admitted to the hospital on October 31 when he complained of shoulder pain. He had this problem for six months. According to a statement from the hospital. Nandamuri's condition has now improved and he has been discharged.

The same statement said that after seeing the actor's MRI, shoulder surgeons Dr Raghuveer Reddy and Dr BN Prasad performed 4 hours of surgery on Nandamuri. The statement also said that Nandamuri Balakrishna had a shoulder problem for the last six months. He was in a lot of pain and could not even lift his right hand. The actor has been asked for rest for 6 weeks.
