Dehradun: PM Narendra Modi will visit Kedarnath on November 5, but opposition to his visit has begun. The priests are opposing Prime Minister Modi's visit. After which Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh reached Kedarnath Dham on Wednesday to celebrate the religious priests. Chief Minister Dhami is said to have interacted with the priests in a locked room for a long time.

In fact, two days ago, the BJP state president, including former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat, had a lot of opposition in Kedarnath. Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was not even let to visit by the priests. The priests then decided to oppose Prime Minister Modi's visit as well. Since then, the Uttarakhand Government has been in the can. In view of the opposition of purohit and panda community, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Kedarnath today and interacted with the priestly community. He also inspected the preparations for the PM's visit and tried to reduce the opposition of the priestly community.

In fact, in January 2020, trivendra singh rawat's government formed the Char Dham Devasthanam Board. At the same time, control of 51 other temples, including Char Dham, had come to the State Government. Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri and Badrinath are the four dhams in Uttarakhand. Since then, the priestly and panda societies have been adamant on the demand to withdraw the decision. However, Dhami had constituted the committee as soon as he became cm and promised to take a decision on the basis of the report.
