New Delhi: Assembly elections are proposed in five states of the country next year. Earlier, the results of bypolls to three Lok Sabha and 29 Assembly seats have been released on November 2. Out of 29 assembly seats, BJP NEET alliance NDA has won 15 seats. In a tweet on Wednesday, veteran Congress leader and former Union minister P Chidambaram asked which direction the wind will blow in 2022.

On the bypoll results, Chidambaram tweeted, "A thought-provoking analysis has been given of the results of assembly bypolls for 30 seats. BJP won 7 seats and its declared allies won 8 seats. Congress won 8 seats. Non-BJP parties won 7 seats, out of which only 1 seat was won by a crypto-ally of BJP, YSR Congress, and other 6 seats were won by the parties against BJP.'' He wrote in a questioning tone, "Respect is still there today... Where will the wind blow in 2022?''

Let me tell you that in this by-election, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) headed by Mamata Banerjee has won all the 4 Assembly seats in West Bengal. In Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress has won one seat and INLD has won one seat in Haryana.
